Creating a Moment/Memory:

  1. Press the “Plus (+) button at the bottom of your screen
  2. Select the type of moment or memory you would like to create.  You can create a moment by capturing a photo or video, uploading a photo or video, recording audio, or writing.
  3. Title/Caption your moment, and select the date you want displayed on your Legacy..  (Today’s date is auto selected via default.)
  4. TELL THE STORY.  Here, Transcend gives you the opportunity to tell the story behind your moment/memory however you’d like.  You can write, or use a video or record audio to bring your moment to life.
  5. Add Details Section: Here we give users the ability to control every aspect of their content.

Media: use this field to easily add up to 5 additional photos or videos to your moment/memory.

Tags: Type any tags you wish to add to your post.  This makes finding posts easier in the future by searching for tags.  For example: “birthday,” “vacation,” “Summertime,” “Baseball,” etc.

Who is in this memory?:  Tag who was in this memory (users will not be notified if they are tagged)

Location:  Tap to choose the location of the moment/Memory, or create a new location.  Example: “Home”

Who can view this memory: Decide exactly who can view your post.  You can select individuals, or select any of your “Orbits” to quickly share with  a group of individuals. “Only Me” is selected by default, as your privacy is important to us.  Want to share something with the world?  Select the “Public” Orbit and everyone will be able to view the content you shared.

Click Post

Tips:

Telling the story behind the moments you capture is where the magic is!  Use this section to share what a moment means to you, or why it is special.   It’s these stories that bring your posts to life!

Don’t have time to complete your post?  No problem.  Simply press “Save Draft” and you can finish it later.  Your post will be waiting for you in the “Drafts” section of your Legacy.

Your Legacy

This is where the content you create lives.  It is organized by the date of the moments and memories that you have added to it.

When others visit your Legacy, they will ONLY see the content that they have the permissions to view.  This way everyone has their own unique view of your Legacy based upon what you have specifically chosen to share with them.

Moments

This section has two views, “Orbits” & “Public”

Moments is where you go to view/browse content that others have created.

With “Orbits” selected you will see any content that has been shared with you by any of your Transcend connections,  in the order it was shared.

Toggle the Moments switch to “Public” to view all public content that has been shared on the Transcend platform.

You can tap on any post within your feed to expand it and view it’s details or additional media.

You may also tap on the Message button to send a private message along with a thumbnail of the post you are sending a message about.

As always within the moments section there is No advertisements, no nonsense.
